About the Artist
Zhanna Day is a visual artist whose work moves between painting, drawing, and spatial thinking. Trained in Multidisciplinary Fine Arts with a focus on sculpture and visual arts, she developed an early sensitivity to form, balance, and the quiet dialogue between objects and space.
Before dedicating herself fully to painting, Zhanna spent several years working as a spatial and interior designer, collaborating with studios, companies, and private clients. Designing environments shaped the way she approaches visual art today. Her paintings often carry an underlying sense of structure and atmosphere, where composition feels almost architectural, even when the imagery drifts into the poetic and surreal.
Her artistic language gravitates toward surrealism and dreamlike symbolism, exploring inner landscapes rather than literal ones. In her work, familiar elements dissolve into imaginative spaces where silence, symbolism, and emotion take precedence over narrative. At the same time, she remains open to experimenting with different visual approaches whenever a concept demands it.
Outside the studio, she finds inspiration in psychedelic music, travel, and the rhythms of the natural world. The sea holds a particular significance in her personal landscape. Its openness, movement, and shifting light frequently echo in the atmosphere of her paintings.
Today Zhanna creates original paintings, drawings, and commissioned works, including artwork for collectors, private spaces, and creative collaborations such as music projects and album covers. Her work continues to explore the subtle intersection between imagination, memory, and the physical world.
